If you’re looking to get a baseline of where your body stands at physically, a body composition analysis is just what you need. This body scan will give you insight on valuable info such as:

  • Muscle to fat ratio
  • Skeletal muscle mass
  • Water retention
  • Weight/height
  • Any present muscle imbalances.

All of this information can be beneficial when designing your workout program. Think of your scan as the starting point on a map to your goals being accomplished as your destination!

Briggs: Tai Ji Quan - Moving For Better Balance Part A (Beginner Class)

This is a 12-week evidence-based group exercise program. The program, based on the principles of Tai Chi, is led by a qualified Instructor and teaches eight movements modified especially for falls prevention.

The program works to improve balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and mobility to enhance overall physical health, which leads to better functioning in daily activities. Participation in the program may also result in better mental health, reduced stress, improved memory and cognition, and increased self-esteem.

This is the secondary 12-week evidence-based group exercise section that makes up the full 6 month program. The program, based on the principles of Tai Chi, is led by a qualified Instructor and teaches eight movements modified especially for falls prevention.

Part B is the second section of the class and can only be registered for IF you have gone through the first 12 week part A section.

The program works to improve balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and mobility to enhance overall physical health, which leads to better functioning in daily activities. Participation in the program may also result in better mental health, reduced stress, improved memory and cognition, and increased self-esteem.
